...I am reading a book that has me giggling like the proverbial schoolgirl. I stayed up waaaaaaay past my bedtime last night, mesmerized, enchanted, seduced and spent. I have barely been able to keep my mind on my very busy job today, wondering how my hero and heroine will fare for the rest of the book, not to mention the heart-thumping point that I stopped reading. I finally HAD to put the book down this morning so I could get ready for work!
Yes, my dears, I am FINALLY reading "Twilight".
I have had this book on my reading list for-evah. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I have been as wide-eyed and heart-fluttered as teenage girl with her first crush since I picked this book up 2 nights ago. The last books I read that affected me this deeply were the Harry Potter series (esp. the first 3) and another book that I (FINALLY) read last year, "The Red Tent".
I mean, I flushed reading "Twilight", and I am not a "flushing" type woman.
Maybe it's just a sensitive, well-written love story involving elements of the supernatural. . . . .
. . . . .or maybe I just need a date. Or an incredibly good lay.....
